Dr. Ryan Kirkland is a double board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs surgery. He has extensive training in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, Mohs surgery, facial reconstructive surgery, various laser and cosmetic procedures and medical dermatology.
Dr. Kirkland earned his medical degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He then moved to Morristown, NY, where he completed his fellowship in Mohs surgery, cutaneous oncology, cosmetic surgery and facial reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Kirkland and his wife, Wendy, an ophthalmologist in Columbus, have two children, Nolan and Camille. He enjoys traveling, exercising, playing golf and snowboarding in his free time.
In addition to an active practice, Dr. Kirkland has authored several articles on cutaneous oncology, laser surgery, cosmetic surgery and medical dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Ohio Dermatological Association.
